Need something for the kitchen or dining?  Pfaltzgraff is having their dollar day sale this week for 4 days till March 26.  Their dollar days are all under $25.  You can sort items for $1, $5, $10 and $20.  They have some great deals so check it out.

       Ikea Seize the Day Sale

Valid Friday, January 30th to Sunday, February 1st, Ikea is offering a free breakfast (one small breakfast and one coffee both valued at 99 cents each) till 10:30AM.

In addition, they are also having a sale on a few select items.  On Friday, January 30th, the deal is a standard down pillow (GOSA RAPS) for $9.99 (originally $29.99-$49.99) and on Saturday, January 31st, a 3 piece Duvet Cover set  (TANJA BRODYR) on sale for $19.99 (originally $49.99 – $69.99).  It has a one limit per household and is available while supplies last.

       Flip and Tumble Bags

I first got introduced with reusable grocery bags when we were on our trip to Australia in late 2007.  My friend even gave us two grocery bags as part of our souvenirs.  Majority of the people down under use them when they go grocery shopping.  Nowadays, they seem to be getting more and more popular here in Southern California.  In fact, stores like Whole Foods give you a 5 cents credit when you bring your own bag to shop.  I started carrying a reusable grocery bag in my car but I still tend to forget it in my car and end up getting a plastic or paper bag.   Late last year, I was provided samples of Flip and Tumble bags.  It was perfect for my Christmas shopping and they have now made a permanent home in my purse.  They have two kinds of bags.  The first one is the Loopt $6 (pictured below on the left) and the other one is the 24-7 bag (round one) for $12.  I like the fact that they are colorful so they are easy to find in my not so organized and not so small purse.  I prefer the round one but for the price, I wouldn’t mind the Loopt.

           Everything CLEAN

Having a baby means lots of dirty laundry.  We’ve gone through many phases of messiness with our little one.  From explosive poops, spilling food on herself, or drawing/painting on her shirt, we’ve seen it all.  How did we get through all this?  Oxiclean!  It’s been the only cleaner that has REALLY worked on everything.  Just give the clothes a soak in this and/or throw a scoop in with your normal laundry detergent.  It’s so easy.

Click HERE to purchase from the Oxiclean website ($11.99 for a 6lb tub) or just visit your local convenient store to see if they carry it.

           Method Dish Soap

For those of you who are like me, and still wash baby bottles by hand, I highly recommend trying Method Dish Soap.  It is ultra-concentrated so a little goes a long way.  Also, it cleans and perhaps most importantly, rinses off very well so you don’t have to worry about a soapy smell or residue on your bottles.  It comes in a variety of scents, even unscented.  Personally, I prefer the Pink Grapefruit scent, but the choice is yours.

It retails for about $4 for a 25oz bottle, and I usually get mine at Target.  I’ve also recently seen the Method line of products for sale at Babies ‘R Us.  Now if you like to buy in bulk, Amazon currently has a 6 pack for $22.71 and it is eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping on orders over $25.
