Stocking Stuffer Idea – 10% off Lovable Labels

Looking for a new and unique gift idea? Lovable Labels are multi-purpose sticker and clothing labels that are laundry, dishwasher and microwave safe. We have used them to label sippy cups, lunch boxes, clothing, shoes and much much more. Our favorites are the slimline labels as they are pretty versatile and will fit on just about anything we need to label. My son loves seeing his name on all his stuff, and as an added bonus he has learned to recognize his name. These labels just aren’t for kids. My friend’s husband uses them to label sporting equipment and fishing poles.
Lovable Labels will make a great gift idea or stocking-stuffer. In fact, our first pack of Lovable Labels was a Christmas gift for my son two years ago.

Lovable Labels is currently offering 10% off to Friends and Family until Christmas Day! They are also offering some special Holiday packs. Click HERE and enter Coupon Code: 9942 upon checkout.
Paci Plushies
About a year ago, I wrote a review about Wubbanubs, which are Soothie pacifiers attached to cute little stuffed animals. The stuffed animal helps to keep the pacifier close to your child and off the floor, and also helps them learn to grasp objects. While I loved our Wubbanubs, cleaning them was not easy since the pacifier was sewn onto the stuffed animal. Well let me introduce you to Paci Plushies.
Paci Plushies are based on the same concept as the Wubbanub. However, it addresses “cleaning” issue that I had with the Wubbanub. You can attach your own pacifier to the Paci Plushi, and remove it when it needs to be cleaned. The stuffed animal is also machine washable which is a definite plus! Paci Plushies work with nearly all types of pacifiers and are BPA and Phthalate free. Click HERE to get yours today.

Educational DVDs that are Fun & Entertaining Too
My son and I really enjoy the Brainy Baby series of DVDs. We have tried out many of the most popular educational DVDs available, and I have to say that the Brainy Baby set is one of our favorites.
Each DVD is approximately 40 minutes long and stimulates your child’s cognitive development with bright, colorful words and images. The words and music are also upbeat and engaging without being too cutesy or irritating…which is definitely a plus since we tend to watch these DVDs over and over and over again.
My son’s current favorite is the Brainy Baby Animals DVD. He is really into animals lately, and he loves watching the real life animals on the farm while singing along to their version of “Old MacDonald.” My favorite is the underwater scene with all the colorful fish swimming around. I’m hoping that over time, my son will learn to associate the animals with their names/words on the screen. I think that both my son and I love these DVDs the most because they do not use cartoonish or puppetlike characters, but rather real-life images that are equally cute and engaging.
I would definitely recommend the Brainy Baby DVDs to anyone with young toddlers. Click HERE to see Brainy Baby’s full selection of DVDs.
The Shandle Review & Giveaway
Potty Training is in full swing in my household. Since I have a little boy, I always told myself that I would teach him how to properly lift the seat up and put it back down after use. (This is my gift to my future daughter-in-law.) Since toilets aren’t exactly considered clean, and a falling toilet seat can also hurt little fingers, I thought I would try out the Shandle. The Shandle is a toilet seat handle that is very simple to install and use. It has antimicrobial properties built into it which adds extra protection from germs and bacteria. They have a variety of cute designs with cute reminders, and they even a plain one to use in your guest bathroom. It is easy enough for my toddler to use, and gives him yet another incentive to use the potty. (He already likes flushing and pulling the toilet paper.) At $6.99 the Shandle is quite affordable, but the makers of the Shandle also offer a 100% Money Back Guarantee if you are not completely satisfied.
We are giving away a Shandle to one lucky weefinds reader. To enter the giveaway, check out the The Shandle site and comment in this post with your favorite design or a great potty training tip. For extra entries, either subscribe to us, follow us on twitter, or tweet about this post with @weefinds in your tweet. The winners will be chosen on September 7th.

Potty Tots Review & Giveaway
Little B is now 2 1/2 and ready to move up to the next class in preschool in the fall. The only prerequisite is that he is potty trained. To be honest, I’ve been putting this off for months, as I just wasn’t ready to deal with any “accidents”. However, I knew I needed to start sometime, so a few weeks ago I decided to try the Potty Tots Training program that weefinds was asked to review.
The Potty Tots Training Kit includes: A story/guide book, animated DVD featuring 3 original potty tots songs and 2 bonus music videos, an 11×17 illustrated potty chart, and an 11×17 progress reward/game.
We started off by reading the book before bedtime for a few nights, and then showed him the DVD which further illustrated the story. He loves watching the DVD and listening to the catchy potty tunes. After he was familiar with the “potty chart” we hung it up together in the bathroom, and I asked him if he wanted to go potty. For the first time in a long time, he was actually interested in using the potty and following all the “steps” as illustrated on the chart. He is very proud each time he completes a “step” exactly how “Enrique” does it in the Potty Tots story. When he is done he always says “Mommy, I did it!” which of course makes both of us very happy. We still have a ways to go before he is potty trained, but I am happy that the Potty Tots Training program has peaked his interest in using the potty.
Potty Tots is giving away one of their potty training kits to a lucky weefinds reader. To enter this giveaway visit the Potty Tots site and leave us a comment on what you think about their training program. For extra entries, either subscribe to us, follow us on twitter, or tweet about this post with @weefinds in your tweet. The winners will be chosen on August 23rd.
