Days Ago Digital Counter Review and Giveaway

How many times have you wondered how long something has been in the fridge?  I tend to smell them but sometimes my husband dares to taste them.  Well wonder no more…have you ever heard of DaysAgo?  It’s a digital day counter that attaches to a variety of surfaces to let you know how many days ago has passed.  It comes in three kinds – magnetic, suction or band attachment.  I got to try the magnetic and suction one.  I used the suction for plastic and glass containers in the fridge and I used the magnetic one for any jars that has the metal lids like Mayo, pickles, etc.  I also used one of the suction counters on one of my plants that I always tend to overwater or dry up.  I plan to order some band attachment ones to use on the coffee and chip bags in my pantry.  The product has been featured in the Oprah Show, Good Morning America, HGTV and Real Simple magazine so a lot of other people love them as much as I do.  I wish I discovered them earlier since this would have been great for baby food.  My husband  and I used a Sharpie to write on the the lid of the baby food but it usually got smudged or unreadable.  This would have been perfect.  Any leftovers now  get the DaysAgo in our fridge.  If you can’t wait to try them, they can be found in several stores.  Click here to find the one nearest you.

DaysAgo is offering a giveaway to our lucky readers.  Just tell us in the comemnt which version you would like to try and what you plan on using it for.  This is open to US and Canada residents.  Winner will be announced January 17, 2010.  For extra entries:

I would definately get the suction one…I am Queen of making things and then leaving it in the fridge for days and even weeks!!! Would love to try one!

I would choose the suction type. We definitely need this product, as my husband and I are constantly arguing over whether questionable items in the fridge are still good! :)

I subscribe via Google Reader as well!

I would love to try the suction ones. I am always throwing away leftovers because I can’t remember how old they are!

suction one

I think the suction one would be the most useful. I would use if for my daughters baby food.

I would love to get the green version for in my kitchen, I’d probably try to schedule a couple things around it so that every three days I do a complete clean of the house, water the plants, and go through the fridge!

I would love the magnetic one that I could give to my dad so he can use it in the fridge. From the 1st day something is opened and put in there is asks everyday “Is this still good?” This even goes for the mustard, ketchup and butter. lol

I’d love the suction one. Aside from using it in the frig (a must!), I think it’s a very clever idea to use it on the turtle tank to remind when it was last cleaned or had water added!
