Potty Tots Review & Giveaway

Little B is now 2 1/2 and ready to move up to the next class in preschool in the fall.  The only prerequisite is that he is potty trained.  To be honest, I’ve been putting this off for months, as I just wasn’t ready to deal with any “accidents”.  However, I knew I needed to start sometime, so a few weeks ago I decided to try the Potty Tots Training program that weefinds was asked to review.

The Potty Tots Training Kit includes: A story/guide book, animated DVD featuring 3 original potty tots songs and 2 bonus music videos, an 11×17 illustrated potty chart, and an 11×17 progress reward/game.

We started off by reading the book before bedtime for a few nights, and then showed him the DVD which further  illustrated the story.  He loves watching the DVD and listening to the catchy potty tunes.  After he was familiar with the “potty chart” we hung it up together in the bathroom, and I asked him if he wanted to go potty.  For the first time in a long time, he was actually interested in using the potty and following all the “steps” as illustrated on the chart.  He is very proud each time he completes a “step” exactly how “Enrique” does it in the Potty Tots story.  When he is done he always says “Mommy, I did it!” which of course makes both of us very happy.  We still have a ways to go before he is potty trained, but I am happy that the Potty Tots Training program has peaked his interest in using the potty.

Potty Tots is giving away one of their potty training kits to a lucky weefinds reader.  To enter this giveaway visit the Potty Tots site and leave us a comment on what you think about their training program. For extra entries, either subscribe to us, follow us on twitter, or tweet about this post with @weefinds in your tweet. The winners will be chosen on August 23rd.

I reviewed this product too and my daughter loves the potty chart. She loves to go through each step and she also yells, “Mommy, I did it!”. This is a great product!

they start to be bothered by diapers or being wet or soiled – one of the signs of being ready. My little boy just turned 2 and he would sit in poop all day if I let him. The time is coming so this looks fantastic!

I learned that it takes about 6 weeks to fully potty train a kid! I need some help! Thanks for the chance!

I’ve been delaying potty training my son. Something like this might get me motivated.

Kids need all the motivation they can get and Im actually trying to win this for a good friend’s little fella

I would use this…well, constantly. I have special needs twins who I plan to begin potty training in a few weeks.

I think their program is great! I especially love the book!

I soooo need this! Potty training a little boy is HARD!

I really love the whole product display, the design, the illustrations, are all well done and attractive for both parents and children. It’s so great that it’s making potty training seems like a game, not a mandatory obligation to adulthood. I love keeping it natural.

I’m not looking forward to potty training (at all!) but this might help!

“I can do it, all by myself!” would be music to ou ears if Kistn said it. We have been trying to potty train her. I looked at the systm and it looks wonderful and easy. Award winning.

I love their website and the idea to use sticker charts as a reward. My son is almost 2 1/2, so he would benefit from this!
