Flip and Tumble Bags
I first got introduced with reusable grocery bags when we were on our trip to Australia in late 2007. My friend even gave us two grocery bags as part of our souvenirs. Majority of the people down under use them when they go grocery shopping. Nowadays, they seem to be getting more and more popular here in Southern California. In fact, stores like Whole Foods give you a 5 cents credit when you bring your own bag to shop. I started carrying a reusable grocery bag in my car but I still tend to forget it in my car and end up getting a plastic or paper bag. Late last year, I was provided samples of Flip and Tumble bags. It was perfect for my Christmas shopping and they have now made a permanent home in my purse. They have two kinds of bags. The first one is the Loopt $6 (pictured below on the left) and the other one is the 24-7 bag (round one) for $12. I like the fact that they are colorful so they are easy to find in my not so organized and not so small purse. I prefer the round one but for the price, I wouldn’t mind the Loopt.![]()
